Ask Flash Productions, in association with the Friends of Survival, announces a special preview presentation ...of Blindsided, an inspiring new solo show, written and preformed by
Jeannette Rizzi, directed by Rod Menzies.
Blindsided is a personal journey through Jeannette's early life in Alachua, Florida, where she struggles to overcome the shocking suicide of her beloved friend, Katie, a popular high school student with a seemingly bright future ahead of her.
Blindsided is a courageous, uninhibited account of a life with more than its fair share of challenges that is ultimately hopeful and uplifting. Jeannette never loses her ability to laugh at herself and to find the hilarious side of her situation. Ultimately, she finds the one thing that always gives her the strength to cope: love and belief in herself.
Donations will be collected at the door and presented to Friends for Survival, a non-profit organization for survivors of suicide loss, in loving memory of Katie Nicole Wilson (2/19/1981-2/4/1998).
