Christina Joy Howard Scores With Reviews for "The Last Day"

Christina Joy Howard is one of the founding members of Loft Ensemble in DTLA. They put on amazing productions are currently they are performing "The Last Day". The play revolves a playwright who discovers that her dad was CIA while writing a play about his involvement in the evacuations of Saigon in 1975 during the Vietnam war. Christina wrote this play based on her true life experiences with actual recordings by her father, Bruce Howard. Shannon Chappel in Six Letters in Harlem Play

Shannon Chappel will be in the play "Six Letters in Harlem" a classical musical experience that mixes it up with hip hop making it appealing to audiences old and young! The play follows the story of Jr. as he retraces the history of his Grandfather and finds a new appreciation of Harlem. It will be at Stage 52 on Washington blvd on June 8th (8pm) June 9th (2pm and 7pm)and June 10th (2pm and 7pm). The play is written and directed by Crescent McGlone.

Not only did this A List bound rising star enjoy the opportunity of seeing himself on the Bigscreen this weekend with the 5/11 release of his film "Hick" with Chloe Grace-Moretz, Blake Lively and Eddie Redmayne. Dave Vescio has now booked the role of "Sign Man" in the new Kate Beckinsale/Nick Nolte feature "The Trials Of Kate McCullough"!! Written by Dale Griffiths Stamos and Directed by Maggie Grant it is a series of one acts about love, silly love, dangerous love, lost love and found love. Molly previously won a Stage Scene LA Award while working with this same company, Three Rose Players and Venice Sky. The new webseries was cast by Tamara Hunter (The Avengers, Safe House) and is directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious films, Community). No wonder that Sepideh's first home run would be under such a great director.
